PSX CD Builder is a lightweight utility for assembling PlayStation (PS1)–compatible CD images from files and folders. It helps you create BIN/CUE images suitable for emulators, optical drive emulators, or use on original hardware, with control over disc layout and boot configuration.

Key capabilities:

  • Build PS1-ready BIN/CUE images in the correct Mode 2 format.
  • Define file layout and LBA order to match expected access patterns; optionally add padding/dummy data.
  • Create or import a SYSTEM.CNF to set the boot executable.
  • Set basic disc metadata (for example, volume label).
  • Generate cue sheets automatically and rebuild images from an existing folder structure.
  • Perform simple structural checks to reduce common authoring errors.

Typical uses include preparing homebrew projects, rebuilding discs for testing, or compiling fan translation outputs. Use only with content you own or have permission to redistribute.

PSX CD Builder is developed by Majestic 12. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 1.1 and 2.0. The name of the program executable file is PSX CD Builder.EXE.
